What it costs

typically S$120–200 per visit for the nurse's time. Consumables are billed separately at cost — no markup. The fee also covers travel within mainland Singapore and a written summary for the patient's doctor. See the full pricing list.

Surcharges, where they apply:

• Same-day / urgent (booked within 24 hours): +S$60
• Off-island / remote zones (Sentosa, Jurong Island, Tuas South): +S$55
• Visits beyond 60 minutes: +S$60 per additional 30 minutes

What happens during the visit

• The nurse checks the tube is secure and correctly placed before feeding.
• The feed is given or the pump set up at the right rate.
• The tube is flushed to keep it clear, and medications given if prescribed.
• The family is taught safe feeding, positioning and how to avoid aspiration.
• A written visit summary is left for the patient's own doctor.

Who needs this

People fed through a nasogastric (NG) or PEG tube at home, and the families learning to manage daily feeds, flushes and medications through the tube.

How often: As often as the feeding plan needs — from a teaching visit early on to regular support.

When to call a doctor

• Coughing, choking, or breathlessness during or after a feed (possible aspiration)
• The tube is blocked, has moved, or has come out
• Vomiting, a swollen tummy, or feed leaking around the site
